About Wayne Tucker
I was born and bred in The City of Legends, St. John’s, Newfoundland. For most of my career, I worked in the environmental field. Since my retirement twelve years ago, I’ve pursued my lifelong interest in the recorded music of Newfoundland & Labrador. My personal collection of local recordings from the pre-digital era grew steadily. Seven years ago, I thought that a radio show which was dedicated to playing all kinds of old Newfoundland & Labrador recordings would be a great idea. Thankfully, so did our campus and community radio station, CHMR (MUN Radio). They let me loose in their studio and The NewFound Records Radio Hour was born!
