Folk Alley – Tuesday – 1 PM
On Folk Alley every Saturday morning at 8 am, I explore the singers and songwriters of traditional music, the folk revival movement and Atlantic Canadian artists of today. From traditionalists to the newer sounds, the music coming out of Atlantic Canada is world-class. Our musicians are renown for their song writing abilities, their originality, and their musical prowess. I take real pride in bringing our audience this music every week.
About Anne MacKeigan
From the moment I picked up my first guitar at 12 and learned three chords I was hooked on the folk sound. I worshipped Dylan, Baez, Valdy and Lightfoot and envied their political activism. Their music connected me with new ideas, the possibility of social change, and the ‘outside’ world. Music became my world.
