The last two years we have broadcast 24 hours of 100% Canadian Music on July first, but this year we wanted to do something special to make Canada’s 150 and share the amazing talent this country has to offer” said Jim Robson, Chairman of CIOE 97.5 FM and former CRTC Commissioner. “During my time as a CRTC Commissioner, we longed for broadcasters to increase their Canadian content, it is initiatives like this that help fuel Canada’s creative economy and CIOE is proud to lead the way.”
